Ruth Schreiber was born into a Jewish family in London, England in 1947 and holds a BSc in Economics, a BA in Psychology, an MA in Museum Studies and a Diploma in History of Art. She is married with six children and moved from London to Jerusalem in 1980. In 2003-5 she studied for the MFA at Bezalel Academy of Arts in Jerusalem. Since then she has focused on her art while working in parallel as a guide in art, archaeology, Judaica at the Israel Museum in Jerusalem. Her work has been exhibited extensively including, most recently, in the the 'Women in Judaism' exhibition (spring 2021), in Laupheim, Germany.
